Meet Gunnar — K9 4 KEEPS Handsome Rottie
We saw a post on Facebook stating that this gorgeous boy only had 24 hours to live. His time was up at the pound. We called everybody and their brother to help us save him and fortunately we found some wonderful people to help. Within a few hours, Gunnar was safe and in our care.

He had a cold when we got him, which turned into pneumonia. He was really sick and we weren’t sure if he would survive. Gunnar has shown us that he’s a fighter and wasn’t about to give up. He pulled through it and is now ready to find his forever home.

Gunnar is a real-deal Rottie. He’s incredibly sweet and loving…and has a tough side too. He’ll need to be placed with an experienced working dog owner. Someone who will establish rules, structure and give him an outlet for his energy. In true Rottie spirit, he’s a fast learner and wants to please. With all that he has survived in the last few months, he is destined to be someone’s faithful companion.

If anyone wants to chip-in to help with Gunnar’s vet care, please do so here:
Any amount is greatly appreciated and will go directly toward his care. (Please note "Gunnar" in the "special instructions" field.)
